I didn't buy my degree as you point out above. I am a medical doctor. I specialize in veterinary medicine, but I dabble in optometry. I'm actually in the middle of developing an alternative to Lasik surgery, involving a laser pointer, a magnifying glass, and a steady hand. It's great, you can even do it at home! You might want to buy a box of rats to try it on before you raise the glass to your kids.
